Dr. Chris Sellers is a native Houstonian, and while he grew up playing baseball and basketball in Texas, he excelled at football. He played Division I collegiate football at the United States Air Force Academy and now enjoys practicing and playing golf with his wife Dr. Leach. He also enjoys working out, running, and spending time with his family.

Education & Honors
Dr. Sellers is currently an Ironman provider for Active Release Technique of the Spine, Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity and Nerve Entrapments.  Dr. Sellers graduated cum laude from Texas Chiropractic College receiving his Doctrine of Chiropractic. His education included a four-year internship in a sports medicine clinic, three-month neurosurgery rotation, and a two-month ER hospital rotation. In 1993 he received his Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M. Dr. Sellers is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association. 

Experiences
Joining the Performance Wellness team August 2002, Dr. Sellers and his wife Dr. Leach have a passion for sports chiropractic, rehabilitation and wellness care. 

Dr. Sellers was with USA Fit in Houston for four years, and he and Dr. Leach are currently event sponsors for Austin Fit (a division of USA Fit), Austin Triathletes, TriZones Training, T3 & the Austin Runners Club.

Brandie Leach DC

 Dr. Brandie Leach, born and raised in Manitoba, Canada, has deep roots in the sports and health industries. Her mother, Isabel Leach, has been a physical therapist for forty years, while her father, Reggie (Philadelphia Flyers), and her brother, Jamie (Pittsburg Penguins), were both professional hockey players for a total of twenty-five years. Brandie has kept up the family sporting tradition by playing lacrosse nationally for Canada for three years, and in 1993 participated in the world cup in Edinburough, Scotland. She also played collegiate field hockey for the University of Manitoba. Dr. Leach now coaches the University of Texas Womens Lacrosse Team and the Director for Westlake High School Womens Lacrosse Program; and in her spare time she enjoys golfing, tennis and spending time with her children.

Education & Honors
She graduated from Texas Chiropractic College receiving her Doctrine of Chiropractic and Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. Her education included a one-year internship in a chiropractic clinic, three-month orthopedic spine surgery rotation, and a two-month Reumatology rotation. She is currently attending Nutritional seminars. Dr. Leach is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association, and certified in CPR.

Experiences
Dr. Leach came to Texas to pursue her medical career. After moving from Manitoba to Pasadena, Texas, she was lucky enough to meet a gentleman who would eventually bring her to Austin. Dr. Leach joined the Performance Wellness team August 2002 where she and her husband Dr. Sellers practice sports chiropractic, rehabilitation, and wellness care. Dr. Leach and Dr. Sellers have two children Jaden  & Hunter.

Chris Olson DC, ART

 Dr. Chris Olson, DC, BS, was born in Wisconsin but has been a Texan since the age of eight.  Growing up, he played soccer, baseball, basketball and golf and learned at an early age the importance of a healthy body’s effect on performance.  Dr. Olson continued to pursue his passions for golf and soccer in college and he enjoys playing both to this day. 

Education and Honors

Dr. Olson graduated Cum Laude from Parker College of Chiropractic in which he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.  In addition to his doctorate degree, he received a second Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Wellness, having originally received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Olson is also certified in Active Release Technique (ART) of the Upper and Lower extremities. He is board-certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed through the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Experiences

Dr. Olson’s education includes a one-year chiropractic rotation, during which he spent six months in Mexico City at UNEVE Chiropractic College in Ecatapec.  Prior to joining the Performance Wellness team in 2009, Dr. Olson worked as an associate in Dallas, but in order to fulfill his dream of moving back to Austin, he soon returned and has been with our team ever since.

Jeff Prise MPT, ART, TPI

Jeff was born and raised in Gimli, Manitoba, Canada and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 18. Growing up, Jeff excelled in hockey, volleyball, golf, discus, shot put, and javelin, attending provincials each year. Jeff recently moved to Austin and lives with his wife, Lindsey. He enjoys golf, the lake, traveling, and hiking.

Education and Honors

Jeff graduated with honors and distinction from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in which he received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s Degree in Health Studies. In addition to his degrees, Jeff is Full Body, Active Release Technique (ART) certified for Spine, Lower and Upper Extremities. He is also Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified in Level 1 golf fitness training. He is certified through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Experiences

Jeff’s clinical experiences include two extended rotations in community hospitals in Illinois and Oklahoma where he worked with Outpatient, Inpatient, and Acute care populations. The offer to work with an athletic population inspired Jeff to become ART and TPI certified and move to Austin to join the Performance Wellness Team.
